What to know before you buy
These decide how it holds the cold and what it asks of your home.
- Western Red CedarWestern Red Cedar is the high-end sauna wood, and it resists rot and insects naturally. It's aromatic and conducts heat poorly, so benches stay cool enough to sit on at 90°C (194°F).
- Active ChillerA powered chiller holds your set temperature year-round, so the cold stays consistent and you never make an ice run.
