Before you order
This page gathers what Homecraft Saunas publishes about the Revive, checked Oct 10, 2026, and adds up what it costs to install.
Who should buy the Revive?
The Revive suits the typical backyard barrel or cabin. Homecraft builds it at 6, 7.5 and 9 kW and rates the 9 kW for up to 450 cubic feet (12.7 m³), and its deep basket takes up to 91 kg (200 lb) of stone, so each ladle has more hot rock to work with. Nootka puts a Revive in its Cube, and Copperwood offers Homecraft heaters in its Alberta barrels.
For a small room, the Revive Slim costs a little less. Fenno's W-Series is the cheapest Canadian electric heater we've found, at about $1,000 for the 6 kW.
What does it take to install?
The Revive is hardwired at 240V on a 40- or 50-amp breaker, depending on the size, and a licensed electrician makes the connection. Check your panel has room first, since an older service may not. Homecraft's spec sheet calls for seven boxes of stones to fill the basket.
