Before you order
This page gathers what Bramari Saunas publishes about the Mökki, checked Oct 11, 2026, and adds up what it costs to install.
Who should buy the Mökki?
The Mökki suits a buyer who wants a modern cabin with a glass wall and can spend over $20,000 on it. Bramari builds it in Calgary from solid Douglas fir mass timber panels 10 cm (4 in) thick, around a room 2.1 m (7 ft) square under a 2.1 m ceiling, with the benches set high. The price includes the heater, siding and roofing, and you choose a 12 kW Harvia Club, a HUUM Hive or a wood stove.
At about 2,500 kg (5,500 lb), the Mökki needs a proper foundation and sometimes a crane, and Bramari doesn't publish a seat count. Copperwood's Modern 6×8 from near Edmonton arrives built for less, and Coldture's wood-burning XTREME comes with a Narvi stove and its chimney for about the same price.
What does it take to install?
Bramari delivers and assembles the Mökki for $1,800 within an hour of Calgary or the Bow Valley, and quotes anywhere farther. It also ships as a package, though Bramari warns you'll need a strong crew to unload and build it, and sometimes a crane. Its first choice for a base is screw piles, which it can arrange for $1,200 to $1,600 around Calgary. A level concrete or large-paver pad runs $1,800 to $3,600, Bramari says, and compacted gravel in a timber frame $1,600 to $2,600. Bramari warns against hand-dug sonotubes and pavers on topsoil. Electric heaters come with a rough-in kit for a licensed electrician to wire, and a wood stove comes with its insulated pipe, heat shield, flashing and cap.

What to know before you buy
Douglas fir, mass timber, electric, wood-fired. These decide whether it suits your space and your electrical panel.
- Solid WoodSolid natural wood tolerates heat and can be repaired. It ages well in a hot room.
- Wood-FiredA log stove heats the room, so the sauna runs fully off-grid and the crackling fire becomes part of the ritual. Fans of wood heat call its löyly the softest. Plan for a chimney and about 45–60 min of heat-up.
- ElectricAn electric heater holds a steady temperature on its thermostat and needs no chimney. Many models add app or timer control.
