Before you order
This page gathers what Dundalk LeisureCraft publishes about the CU572, checked Oct 11, 2026, and adds up what it costs to install. Our verdict on it runs in LeisureCraft sauna review: which Ontario-built model fits your yard?.
Who should buy the CU572?
The CU572 is for a couple, or a small family of three, who'd like a red cedar room with its glass front turned toward the house or the view. Backyard Canada's listing shows a full glass door between double-pane bronze windows, and LeisureCraft builds its Pure Cube line in Melancthon from western red cedar it buys from BC mills.
It costs more than any other LeisureCraft room we list and seats the fewest. SaunaSpa's Moderna puts a 140 by 168 cm (55 by 66 in) window across the front for less and arrives assembled. LeisureCraft's Luna seats four in white cedar for about $3,000 less.
What does it take to install?
Backyard Canada gives the footprint as 68 by 84 in (about 1.7 by 2.1 m), so build a level base a little larger than that. When you order, you can move the door around the corner or swap side glass for solid cedar or semi-privacy panels. Ask Backyard Canada whether the CU572 takes a wood stove, because LeisureCraft's own table marks its smaller Pure Cube Outdoor sizes as electric only. An electric heater needs a hardwired 240V circuit from a licensed electrician.

What to know before you buy
Western Red Cedar, electric. These decide whether it suits your space and your electrical panel.
- Western Red CedarWestern Red Cedar is the high-end sauna wood, and it resists rot and insects naturally. It's aromatic and conducts heat poorly, so benches stay cool enough to sit on at 90°C (194°F).
- ElectricAn electric heater holds a steady temperature on its thermostat and needs no chimney. Many models add app or timer control.
